PE-Xc pipe
The complete HAKA.GERODUR range is backed by decades of experience in plastics processing. This vast pool of knowledge is available to our customers for the benefit.
Basic material The base material is a specially stabilised PE-HD with a high molecular weight. This material is available in granular form, and is extruded to produce the HAKA pipe. The second step involves cross-linking, i.e. the build-up of the physical lattice structure using high-energy radiation from an electron accelerator. The accelerated ß particles provide the energy for the molecular chain reaction. This is a radical crosslinking process, and HAKA.GERODUR AG works in partnership with a leading Swiss specialist for this purpose. Cross-linking is carried out in the world's most modern, high-performance ß-plant. Benefits • highly flexible and easy to lay • oxygen-tight to DIN 4726 • covered by extensive warranties Use The PE-Xc floor heating pipe withstands a maximum operating temperature of 95° C and a maximum operating pressure of 6 bar. Benefits of the 5-layer pipe perfect seal between the oxygen barrier layer and the outer protective layer • suitable for building site conditions
